Oral-B

I was given an awesome opportunity to test out the new Oral-B ProfessionalCare Smart Series 5000 with SmartGuide. With this series you have a wireless smart guide for the ultimate brushing performance. There are five different modes available with the 5000, such as daily clean, sensitive, whitening, massage, and deep clean. The five modes have advanced brushing technology using oscillating, pulsating, and rotating movement to provide a more effective clean. With the deep clean mode, it can remove 99.7% of plaque from hard to reach areas. What I really enjoy about this, it has a pressure sensor. With this pressure sensor, it will automatically stops the pulsating when brushing too hard. The 5000 Series is very gentle on teeth and gums, and can improve the color of teeth in 3 weeks. It gently whitens and polishes your teeth to be able to see a significant improvement. Oral-B is the #1 dentist recommended toothbrush world wide. My experience with Oral-B ProfessionalCare Smart Series 5000 with SmartGuide was wonderful. My teeth felt so clean, smooth, and slick. I really did notice my teeth did become whiter after a few uses. My teeth are in healthy shape, and I am non smoker, so I didn't have a lot of yellowing at all, but I still did see a change. I tried all the modes a few times each, and all worked very well for me. The timing method with the smiley face is a really cool idea. I would of loved it though, if, it had a backlight behind the sensor guide, maybe a bluish green color. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a better cleaning system for their mouth.

Thanks ModernMom!

Torani

I had the opportunity to try out Torani flavored syrups from SheSpeaks. I received pumpkin spice and hazelnut. The pumpkin spice is what I have been working with so far. I made cookies with it, and also mixed it in my daughters pancake syrup for an extra kick. She loved it, especially over her pumpkin spice waffles. I noticed you can do so many things with this awesome syrup, from pastries, to adding it to drinks, and even breads. The possibilities are endless.

We did a Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Cookie Surprise recipe.

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar
1 cup canned pure pumpkin
1 large egg
1/2 cup Torani Pumpkin Spice syrup
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins

Prep:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in medium bowl. With an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Add pumpkin, egg, Torani Pumpkin Spice syrup and mix well. Add flour mixture, mix well. Stir in nuts and raisins. Drop a large tablespoon of dough onto baking sheets, and spread the batter into a circle. Repeat with remaining dough. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes, or until cookies are firm and lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes and then remove to wire racks to cool completely. Serves 3 Dozen.
